In addition to skin prick and patch testing for a variety of possible allergic conditions (see "Specialties"), also available at Idaho Allergy and Asthma is the Xoran MiniCat sinus CT scan. This state of the art technology takes only about 20 seconds and exposes the patient to less than 1/15th of the radiation dose of a standard sinus CT scan. Dr. Fritz describes the scan as "an invaluable diagnostic tool", providing convenience for the patient to be scanned in the office and receive immediate results.
In a continuing effort to bring the latest in cutting edge medical advances to the Treasure Valley community, Dr. Fritz has taken on the role of Principal investigator for several clinical research trials in the area of allergy and asthma. Anyone interested in participating these research trials may contact Idaho Allergy and Asthma for more information.
